Reflecting diff progress on task status

Is there a way to automate task status changes through diff progress? Something like that:

  • work started on a diff via arc work -> task moves to "In Progress"
  • diff submitted via arc diff -> task moves to "In Review"
  • diff rejected via Phorge -> task moves back to "In Progress"
  • diff accepted via Phorge -> task moves to "Approved"
  • diff landed via arc land -> task moves to "Done"

This is just an example. Can this be done with something like Herald?

Automagically moving Tasks across columns seem under the scope of this feature request, you can subscribe:

T15043: Automatically move tasks between columns on project boards

At the moment (Feb 2025) no one is working on it. Evaluations/prototypes are welcome I guess :)

Thanks, we'll look into it!

@nib FYI: this seems like a two-part issue, we'll need to teach Herald to manage tasks first.
