The Problem

• Bullets are not processed by Remarkup on tables as there is no way to add line breaks on tables (unlike on MediaWiki markup). Also see T15712: Support Literal Blocks Syntax Inline.

• Because checkboxes are technically bullets, they too are not processed on tables.

Solution

Ensure [ ] and [x] get processed on tables.

Benefits

Having the ability to process checkboxes on tables can allow to mark issues as done on umbrella tasks with descriptions for issues it tracks, but no sub-tasks for each issue (ie. T15056).
