A user at my work yesterday included an image in a Conpherence chatroom, but it defaulted to visibility set just for him, and this led to enough worry that he's been going through and manually changing visibility on every upload since, though unknown to him it wasn't a problem with Maniphest.

Looking closer, I see perhaps the big difference in behaviour is due to Maniphest Tasks being "Attached" (as per the naming of the tab in the File settings for the upload) in mode "Attached", whereas doing the same thing to add a file to a Conpherence Room results in the mode being merely "Referenced".

Is it correct and intended that such uploads are merely Referenced rather than Attached? If so, is there some config way to change this that my silly eyes aren't seeing? Or alternatively, could there be an equivalent of the easy Attach File workflow that pops up most places (ex. in Maniphest) when an object it , or that existing support surfaced in Conpherence?
